John Anthony Jr. is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America and a Certified Gemologist Appraiser of the The American Gem Society. Why not make an appointment through email and have your jewelry appraised for insurance purposes? We offer accurate state of the art appraisals using the latest computer technology to ensure that you valuables are properly documented and protected. We also offer estate appraisals. Appraisals or personal jewelry should be kept current. Insurance companies require much more detailed information than in the past and recommended appraisals be reviewed every three or four years. Some items need to be updated more often. If the market increases, old appraisals will not cover you in the event of a loss. If the market decreases, you old appraisals will have you paying for more coverage than you need. Remember that the obligation rest on the owners to have their items appraised.
